2025 HSSA Secondary Inter-District Schools gala - Rules @ 14th Oct 2023
The current rules for this gala are below:
A swimmer may NOT compete out of his/her age group.
The competition is in three age groups.
Junior:
12 - 13 years: born between 1/9/11 and 31/8/13 (year 7 & 8)
Intermediate:
14 - 15 years: born between 1/9/09 and 31/8/11 (years 9 & 10)
Senior:
16 - 18 years: born between 1/9/06 and 31/8/09 (years 11, 12 & 13)
Juniors & Intermediate swimmers may take part in one individual and one team event OR two team events.
1 swimmer in each team may swim 1 individual and 2 team events.
Seniors may take part in 1 individual & 2 team events. IM is not included in the individual events for Seniors
All individual events are 50m except I.M. (100m)
